Well, in surfing my blogs today, it appears that an issue has arisen regarding the lead in items which come into contact. First of all, I want to say that we certainly need to protect our children, however in reading these blogs, things do seem to be out of hand. The impact is to handmade items, as I understand it.

This feels like another example of a law put on the books with the biggest issue being the ability or lack thereof to enforce. Policing something like this is monumental but the threat remains for an individual or company to be targeted. The information found on 'Fashion Incubator' was really helpful. It's a tough issue and I wonder how China mfgs will get around this one.
