It's the weekend

It's the weekend and I have time to again to do the stuff I really want to do. We just endured a week of nasty weather, waking each morning to a nasty commute. Now, before the laughter starts among those I know, my commute is normally 10 minutes max, but increased to fifteen when the roads are bad. I basically live right down the road from my work. Further the nasty weather here in central Ohio is not nearly what it wasin Northern Indiana, where we came from 8 years ago. I actually love the snow and am constantly teased about it. Of course, my commute being easy makes it easier to love the snow. But seriously, the beauty of snow is without rival, in my opinion. What could be more beautiful that lovely white snow drifting through the skies to cover the earth in a blanket of beautiful clean white snow. And the silence, Oh my gosh, the silence that snow brings upon the earth is unbelievable. What a perfect sound insulator it is. And the last reason that I love the snow is the lightness that it brings to the night time. I love to look outside in the dark to see the snow. It creates this beautiful aura of soft light in the night.

I hope to get some more done on my site this weekend, but am adding a photo for the first time right now. I have been snapping photos like crazy lately and am enjoying taking photos of everything from our dinner to my crafts. We had a cabbage potato veggie dish last week (Thank you, Leon) and I snapped a picture for fun. Here it is.
